How it works
Three steps, no setup
Add it to Chrome
Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store once it is listed. It asks for no account.
Use your plan as usual
Ebbmeter reads the usage figures your plan already shows you, using the session you are already signed in with.
Glance at the badge
Check the toolbar for the level, open the popup for the breakdown and reset times, and pace the day.
Privacy
Your usage stays in your browser
The data is about you, so it stays with you.
Reads only your own usage
Ebbmeter reads the usage figures for your own plan. It does not read your conversations.
Sends nothing anywhere
The numbers are kept in your browser. Ebbmeter does not send them to us or to anyone else.
No account
There is nothing to sign up for. Remove the extension and the stored data goes with it.

Which plans does it work with?
Ebbmeter is built for Pro and Max plans that have session and weekly usage limits. It is a Chrome extension; other browsers are not planned yet.
Is it free?
Yes. The core extension is free. A Pro unlock for $24 one-time (custom alert thresholds, usage history) is planned and not on sale yet.
What does it read, and where does it go?
It reads your own usage figures in your browser and keeps them there. Nothing is sent to us or to a third party, and there is no account.
Does it read my conversations?
No. It reads usage figures only.
Does it raise my limits?
No. Ebbmeter only shows where you stand. Your plan decides the limits.
Is it affiliated with the provider of my plan?
No. Ebbmeter is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by that provider.
When can I install it?
